Trinidadian Soca artist Buffy has been recently nominated for Best New Artist at the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) 2011.
The prestigious awards ceremony will be taking place for the first time in Trinidad and Tobago, Saturday 28th May.
The nomination is understandably big news for Buffy who's career soared this year with her hit single "Soak It". Buffy is also said to be elated announcing that she is 5 weeks pregnant with her second child, she will be due in January 2012, just in time for the start of Carnival season.
